Pediatric dentistry
Pediatric dentistry addresses the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents, whose dentition is still maturing and whose hygiene habits are developing. Young patients often benefit from a more age-appropriate approach by providers.

Payment and insurance options
The Pediatric Dentistry clinics at Parnassus and Mission Bay accept all PPO insurance plans; however, we are only contracted with Delta Dental PPO. Patients with other out-of-network PPO plans are required to pay at the time of service. As a courtesy, the Dental Center Patient Billing Service team will submit claims to patients’ PPO insurance for patient reimbursement.
- Direct Payment: Patients may pay with cash, check, or credit card for Dental Center services.
- Denti-Cal: The pediatric clinics accept Denti-Cal.
