Dental exams

We recommended that patients schedule twice-annual exams so they can catch and stop early signs of decay or other problems.

Your provider may suggest that you get X-rays as part of your exam. Dental X-rays are important because they help dentists detect problems that are not visible during a regular examination, such as cavities, gum disease, and issues with tooth roots. Despite their very low dose of radiation, they provide a comprehensive view of oral health, allowing for early diagnosis and treatment, which can prevent more serious dental issues later on.
