University of California San Francisco
Student Dental Implant Program
The UCSF Student Implant Program offers affordable dental implants and crowns with the highest quality parts and materials and a high level of supervision from UCSF’s renowned faculty.
Services we offer
To qualify, patients must have a stable bite, a healthy mouth, and need implants in the premolar or molar areas. All patients are screened by faculty and must complete a comprehensive exam with X-rays, photos, and dental models.
The student implant program does not restore or service implants placed elsewhere, restore implants with dentures or partial dentures, or provide restorations for front teeth. If your case is too complex, you may be referred to another specialty clinic. Each patient is limited to two implants.
Predoctoral students are closely supervised by group practice leaders and oral and maxillofacial surgery faculty throughout treatment.

Implants
Dental implants are a tooth replacement solution for patients who have permanently lost teeth. They are surgically implanted in the mouth and provide artificial teeth that look natural and feel secure.
-
Restorative dentistry
Restorative dentistry focuses on repairing or replacing damaged or missing teeth to improve oral health and function.
